Project Scope and Relevance: This project included the installation of 4,120 linear foot of 18 inch irrigation pipe. To include one road crossing at Carnation Road and taking pipeline through multi other land owners properties. All pipeline elevation alignment grades had to be calculated in house in the field by our crews in order for the installation of the new pipeline to hit proper elevations at tie locations. There was also a pour in place concrete inlet structure and pour in place concrete outlet structure. This project also required the coordination and permission from other land owners prior to working on their property. All land owners were complete satisfied with all reclamation work done on their land to include the seeding of their fields with the same seed mixture as was in fields prior to construction. It should be noted that this was a labor only contract and all materials were supplied by owner.

Project Challenges: The biggest challenge on this project was that all work and installation had to be completed prior to the annual irrigation season. There were also some challenging times working with the 12 different landowners whose property we had cross.

Change Orders: There were no change orders on this project. However, there was some owner requested add on work. To include ditch cleaning and an additional 985 linear feet of 18-inch irrigation pipe and 220 linear feet of 10-inch irrigation pipe.
