Past Project Experience – Montrose County School District – Multi Campus Infrastructure Improvement Project – Montrose and Olathe, CO

Project Scope and Relevance: This project consisted of work at five (5) different school campuses for the Montrose County School District with as many as three or more different work areas at each campus. The schools were in Montrose and Olathe Colorado and the work varied at each campus from upgrades to the ADA parking spaces, ADA wheelchair ramps, Non-ADA stairs, sanitary sewer repairs, roof drain underground upgrades, sidewalk removal and replacement in certain areas for utility work.

Project Challenges: The biggest challenge on this project was the number of locations that work was required. Another challenging aspect to this project was the number of unknown sprinkler lines that were encountered throughout the various locations of the project and the logistics of getting materials in and out of the area within the school grounds all while maintaining campus security.

Change Orders: There were no change order associated with this project. However, there was some owner added work to the contract at two additional campuses.

Contract Amount: $362,224.33 Publicly Funded
